RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
- Verify that user stories align with customer needs and expectations.
- Planning and estimating the testing activities that need to perform for the
Products. - Conduct acceptance testing to ensure that software meets specified
acceptance criteria. - Provide guidance to the Development team on effective testing practices.
- Provide feedback to the development team to ensure product quality, user
story completeness and assess risks. - Discover application errors and contribute to incident handling and
prevention. - Report and track any deviations from acceptance criteria.
- Monitor assurance metrics and process results and provide feedback.
- Develop a deep understanding of the application under test and its
architecture.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a QA role, including creating and maintaining development processes.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Effective requirement analysis skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Ability to identify, communicate, and escalate issues.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Solid skills in Database and SQL, with the ability to effectively understand and navigate databases.
- Solid skills in API testing.
Optional but plus:
- Proficiency in utilizing test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Monitoring tools and systems (Sentry, Grafana, Kibana, Elastic, Prometheus, Datadog)
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitlabCI.
