Our partner is a tech enabled B2B platform that is digitizing the traditional retail supply chain in Southeast Asia's emerging market by offering momamp;pop stores, distributors and FMCG brands an optimized digital retail experience from traditional sales channels.

They work with an asset light model. Their platform acts as an intermediary point in the retail supply chain, ensuring that the purchasing and shipping process is minimal and economical, rather than replacing traditional distribution agents. Their main aim is to provide a modern shopping experience through a retail ecosystem between grocers, distributors, and consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Writing readable and clear code using Golang that will be extensively documented for future use and upgrades.
• Extracting and presenting well formatted data using SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Sharing feedback and brainstorming ideas with teams to improve the development process.
• Understanding basic concepts of design for developing user friendly applications.
• Staying up to date with the latest technologies.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Hands-on experience in using Golang, Java, or Python.
• Experimented with data using relational databases like SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• In-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases, and cache reloading.
• In-depth understanding of Object Oriented programming languages like Java and C++.
• Knowledge of REST API structures and integrating third-party libraries.
• Understanding the Agile Software Development Life Cycle and being exposed to Scrum projects.
• Comfortable with using test cases for debugging code, enhancing performance and reliability.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience working remotely and coordinating tech initiatives with different teams to deliver projects.
• Worked at any stage startup or have developed projects of their own ideas.
