Job description

As a Security Data Engineer, you will work to support the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, systems, and processes. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in working with large datasets, implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and contributing to the overall data architecture of the organization. This internship is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in data engineering and analytics.

1. Data Integration:

• Assist in designing and implementing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the datalake.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient data integration and flow across systems.

2. Data Modeling:

• Contribute to the design and development of data models to support business intelligence and reporting requirements.
• Assist in maintaining and updating data dictionaries and documentation.

3. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Security Operation teams, including data scientists, and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

4. Technology Evaluation:

• Stay informed about emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
• Basic programming skills in languages such as Python.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
