Senior Frontend Developer (UK Onsite Opportunity)

Responsibilities:

• Determining the structure and design of web pages.
• Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Optimizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Maintaining bran consistency throughout design.

Requirements

• BA degree in Computer Science/Computer Programming or similar relevant field
• In-depth understanding of key design principles
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML, CSS
• Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of ReactJS, VueJS
• Knowing Nodejs amp; TypeScript is a plus
• Knowing SPA amp; PWA is a plus.
• Good understanding of API such as Soap, Restful, Graphql.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
• Familiar with project management tools such as Jira,.
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• A logical, methodical and analytical approach
• Ability to work accurately with deadlines
• Technically confidence, flexibility and a strong team spirit
• Ability to focus on solutions and deliverables as specified
• Ability to work with client via skype, slack on daily basis in English. Well spoken is a plus
