We are looking for a new teammate in the data engineering team who is enthusiastic, curious, empathic, motivated, reliable, and with a good sense of ownership. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of our data platform and tools to enable other data citizens to be autonomous in terms of data pipelines.

• Design and implement self-service analytics solutions (Data Lake and Data Warehouse) on the public cloud.
• Data and analytics requirements definition, source data analysis and profiling, the logical and physical design of the data lake and data warehouse, as well as the design of data integration pipelines
• Investigating problem areas and raising growth and improvement opportunities to evolve and modernize our data architecture
• Build scalable data infrastructure and develop distributed systems to handle the extensive volume of data processing.
• Ensure the accuracy and availability of data to customers and understand how technical decisions impact their business's analytics and reporting.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building data products incrementally for integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Expert coding experience in Python, Spark, and/or Scala.
• Hands-on experience in the implementation of a cloud data warehouse on a public cloud such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience designing and developing data integration solutions using ETL tools, such as dbt.
• Highly proficient in SQL and database table design, able to write structured and efficient queries on large datasets. NoSQL experience is a plus.
• Understanding data architecture design, modeling, and physical database design and tuning.
• Expert in Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.), creating and managing streaming/batch data pipelines using Kafka, Airflow, BigQuery/Redshift, Cloud Datapoc/EMR, DeltaLake, Iceberg, Hudi, etc.
• Working knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
• Fluent in English communication skills to efficiently work in a multi-cultural and interdisciplinary team.
